Memorial Vase Urns:

While many people choose cremation to preserve a loved one’s ashes, the cremated remains can be buried or scattered. Some families choose to bury the urn in a church or community cemetery or scatter them at sea, on private property, in a favourite park or garden.

A Memorial cremation urn is typically made of high gloss finnish aluminum, usually selected for a deceased adult, not a small urn where the ashes are easier to share. They are often tasteful and aesthetically pleasing just like they were when they were alive. The main thing you need to consider is whether you plan to have your loved one’s ashes buried or scattered because this will determine what kind of cremation urn you need.

Memorials urns offer a solution where the urn is displayed, and presented with flowers, however many find that the presence of an urn upsets some, this provides that same closeness but without the tragic connotation. Some place these urns amongst statues as they are larger than candle urns. Often Candle Urns or Memorial urns are stored in granite urn vaults (although these days the vaults themselves are made from a range of products including wood and concrete.

When someone has passed away, it is important to remember them through their final resting place. Cremation urns can be used as a memorial object that the family members can visit in order to remember and celebrate the life of the one they have lost. Or keep at home where their loved one was comfortable and surrounded by the ones they loved.

Candle Urns for Adults:

If you’re looking for an urn to honor a loved one, consider getting a candle urn.

Candle Urns can be made of ceramic, wood or metal. The most popular materials are the ceramic and metal ones because they are durable and tasteful.

The shape of a candle urn is usually rectangular or square with an opening on top for easy access to the cremated remains.

This type of urn is usually either ceramic or metal. It is designed for a larger person and can contain both ashes and cremains. The cremains are what remain after the body has been cremated and are usually turned into powder.

These urns allow people to have an open casket (a traditional practice) while still honoring the person’s wishes to be cremated.

This type of urn allows people to have an open casket at a funeral without any concerns about leaving their remains behind in the coffin.

Smaller Urns:

A lot of people opt for cremation these days because it is a more environmentally friendly way to preserve the body.

Cremation also allows a person to preserve their loved one’s ashes and keep them at home. However, if they don’t have much money, ash urns might seem expensive to buy. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get a urn for smaller amounts of cremation ash.

If you are looking for an urn for your loved one but feel like it is too expensive, consider going with a smaller option like the Urns by Fovere.net as they are available as a single candle urn or up to packs of 4, in the event that the loved one’s wishes are to be scattered and kept in part.

This type of urn allows people to have an open casket at a funeral without any concerns about leaving their remains behind in the coffin.

Urns for Pets:

Pets are often part of the family, cremation is preferred as they can remain at home.

In the past, pets would often have to be transported to a crematory miles away from their home. The expense in transporting them was often the deciding factor when making the decision of cremation or burial.

Now, many pet cemeteries offer in-ground and above-ground interment options for pets with easier transportation for families that want to bring them back home.

The decision on what is best for your pet will depend on your personal preferences and budget. Pets are usually cremated as it is more convenient and affordable than burial. Choose an urn that they can keep at home to remember your beloved companion.

Candle Urns:

Candle urns are a way of commemorating someone’s life. They are a representation of the person’s life and are often lit at funerals.

Traditionally, candles were lit and left in an altar or shrine for some time period (usually months). This was done to remember the deceased, at times used to indicate a persons status in the community. Nowadays, candle urns have been popularized as a way to commemorate someone’s life.

The urn is a tangible way to keep your loved one close to you when they are no longer in body.

The candle, which sits in the urn, symbolizes the emotional and spiritual connection with those who have passed on. By lighting it, you soon allow yourself to remember and honor your loved one as you set time aside for meditation.

We also find that some like to spend time with their loved one for the duration of the candles burn. It gives them license to spend that time with their loved one.

What size urn do I need?

There are many factors to consider when making a decision about the size of urn you will need. The first factor is the age and gender of the deceased, followed by their height and weight. There is debate as to whether using an online calculator or consulting a funeral director will be more accurate (the urns we provide are made for an adult up to 240lb). If the cremation wasn’t performed in a cremation oven, for instance on a funeral pyre then rocks and other debris like copper, gold or bronze jewelry may be mixed with the ash, this may require that the ash be fed through a filter and the final ash be placed in a memorial vase urn.

How long can you keep ashes in an urn?

The ashes will need to be kept in an urn for a long period of time. It can sometimes take up to seven years before the cremated ashes are ready to be scattered.

The length of time that you can keep the cremated ashes in an urn depends on the type of cremation that you had. Different types of cremations produce different levels of ash, so they have different weight and composition as well. Cremation takes place at high temperature, which reduces the volume and weight off the remains after the process is complete.

Is it bad to keep human ashes at home?

We should not think that it is bad to keep human ashes at home. It is important to remember that there are different beliefs and practices when it comes to death rituals. Some people believe in honoring the departed by keeping their cremated remains at home, while others prefer to have them buried or scattered.

Some cultures practice this kind of memento-taking as a sign of respect and remembrance. It is then a very personal choice for every person on how they want to honor the deceased person.

Keepsake urns for those that want to retain a memory

These urns sometimes referred to as a companion urn, they are a symbol of remembrance and a way to keep the person close to your heart. They are an excellent way to remember the person you lost.

A keepsake urn can be a vessel for cremated remains or an object that holds some of their ashes, like a lock of hair, some flowers, or even their jewelry. By using these vessels, you can have somewhere where you can go and visit someone everyday – without having to go to the cemetery, however some use these urns as grave markers when they are not able to be buried with their loved ones.

Less burden that caskets incur.

In the past a casket was seen as a requirement to offer gestures of goodwill or ask forgiveness, but as the world grew and people moved caskets have become more of a burden that needs to be carried by someone already facing the hardest part of their life. Something that the deceased probably would not want.
